Propagation Sand
Propagation sand is something I highly recommend every gardener/plant enthusiast has in their arsenal.
It has many uses -
- As the name suggests this sand can be used on its own as a propagation medium.
- it can be used as a soil amendment, it helps provide more drainage. It can for example be used to make an excellent homemade cacti and succulent mix with large ratio of propagation sand to less potting mix.
- and it is also highly used by landscapers under paving stones and for anything else that may need leveling. I for example have sand as the very base layer of my greenhouse floor.
Contains 2-4mm hard sharp sand, silica and feldspars (mineral fertilizers that are beneficial to plants).
