Moisture Meter
Believe it or not, I still use one of these moisture meters every time I water my plants! Too often I've thought a plant needs watering, I've tested it with this meter and found the soil further down is still adequately moist.
This meter is an essential tool to have in your planty arsenal, allowing you to correctly water your plants - avoiding root rot and even possible death from over or under watering.
These meters are scientifically accurate and require no batteries!
Simply insert the probe to the root level inside the pot, note the moisture level. Remove the probe from the soil and wipe clean after each use.
