This website and online store is operated by Plants by Bee Limited. Any reference to “we”, “us” or “our” refers to Plants by Bee Limited. We provide this website and online store to you on the condition of acceptance of these terms of service, and by continuing to use our website or making a purchase you automatically agree to these terms of service.
All pricing on this website is in New Zealand dollars ($NZD).
The images on our online store for each product does not necessarily show the exact plant you will receive upon purchase, and in some cases may show a different plant which is of the same variety, type and growth stage as the product being sold.
We do not manipulate the product images in any way. This includes filters or other effects.
Please keep in mind that product images are usually taken outside and in direct sunlight, and that any plants you purchase may look different inside and/or under different lighting conditions.
Requesting a replacement or refund
We are committed to our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act, which outlines minimum standards for the products and services we provide. In the unlikely event that the products sold are faulty or damaged, you have a right to a replacement or refund within a set of reasonable circumstances, which are outlined below.
Due to the live nature of plants, we do not accept returns for any reason.
You may request a replacement or refund under the following circumstances:
If the above circumstances apply to you, then please contact us at via email referencing your order.
For both circumstances listed above, you will need to provide us photographs of the plant(s) in their current condition.
If your plant(s) arrive in a good condition but then die within 7 days, you can only request a replacement or refund if you have taken the steps outlined in our "Caring for your plant" store policy, which is available here on our website and included in your package when the plant(s) were posted to you. If you did not follow these steps when caring for your plant, you may have put it under undue stress which Plants by Bee cannot be expected to account for when growing and sending our products. You may be asked some questions regarding your care of the plant before we can approve these requests.
We strive for a great customer experience, so if you're not satisfied with your order but the circumstances above do not apply to you, please still get in touch with us. We review each request on a case by case basis and may still approve your request.
If your request for a replacement or refund is approved, you may request a replacement.
We will strive to provide you with a replacement plant which is of the same variety, type and growth stage. However this is not always possible, and so under some circumstances we will offer you a replacement which differs from your original order but is of similar or equal value. Alternatively, you may choose to wait until a plant close to your original order is available.
If your request for a replacement or refund is approved, you may request a refund.
You can receive your refund as store credit, which can be spent on any product on our online store.
You can also receive your refund as a direct deposit to the credit/debit card you made your purchase with.
Please allow up to 5 business days for your refund to come through.
