Shipping fee
The shipping fee charged at checkout will depend on where you live in the country. We also base the fee on the size and amount of product(s) ordered.
Pick-up your order
If you're local to Tauranga and would like to pick up your order, you may select "Pick up" as your shipping method at checkout. We'll reach out to you via email within two business days to organise a date and time for contactless pickup.
Dispatch days
We only send out orders on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Any orders to rural North Island addresses and South Island addresses will only be sent out on Monday and Tuesday. This is to avoid your order being held at a depot over the weekend if the delivery is delayed. If you purchase products after 12pm on a Tuesday, then your order will be sent out on the following Monday. In the case of rural North Island addresses and South Island addresses, products purchased after 12pm on a Monday may be sent out on the following Monday.
Expected delivery times
Please allow up to 3 business days for North Island deliveries, and up to 4 business days for South Island deliveries.
In general, orders to rural addresses take a day longer to arrive than urban addresses.
You will receive an email from us once a shipping label is generated for your order. This email will include a tracking number and tracking link. There might be a day or two between the shipping label being generated and your order being picked up by the courier. If your order doesn't arrive in the timeframe outlined above, please refer to the courier's tracking link or get in touch with us via email and we'll follow up with the courier on your behalf.
Permitted addresses
You can specify a residential or business address for delivery, but we do not ship to PO Box addresses.
Unattended deliveries
Your order will not require a signature upon delivery, so if no one is home or available to receive your order, it will be left unattended. You are welcome to add instructions for where the courier should leave your order when you checkout and we'll pass this information on. Plants by Bee or our courier partners do not have responsibility over the order once it has been delivered. We ship to business addresses so you may choose to ship your order to your workplace.
Returns, replacements and refunds
Due to the live nature of plants, we do not accept returns for any reason.
